After touring the rural areas of Panga, Sibling Dex (a Tea Monk of some renown) and Mosscap (a robot sent on a quest to determine what humanity really needs) turn their attention to the villages and cities of the little moon they call home. Becky Chambers (born 1985) is an American science fiction writer, who is the author of the Wayfarers series. Chambers worked in theater management and as a freelance writer before self publishing her first novel, The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, in 2014 after successfully raising funds on Kickstarter. It was followed by a sequel, A Closed and Common Orbit, in 2016. The novels take place in a fictional universe, governed by the Galactic Commons. The third installment, Record of a Spaceborn Few, was published in July 2018.
