Alfred Bester
Alfred Bester var en amerikansk forfatter og redaktør. Han skrev tegneserier og redigerede fiktion-sektionen i et magasin. Han skrev "The Stars My Destination", "The Demolished Man", der modtog den første Hugo Award i 1953 og "Golem 100", nogle af de mest roste SF-romaner i genrens historie. Bester døde i 1987, men hans navn er blevet kendt af nye grunde, da en person i SF-tv-serien "Babylon 5" blev opkaldt efter ham.
