His novelization of the film 30 Days of Night became a New York Times bestseller and won a Scribe Award in 2008. The film Pay the Ghost by Uli Edel is based on an eponymous story by Tim Lebbon. The Silence was made into a film by John R. Leonetti, which was released April 10, 2019 on Netflix.
