Robert V.S. RedickRober V. S. Redick has been writing since he could hold a pen, and began his first novel, about purple monsters invading a Chicago apartment complex, when he was twelve. After that his tastes somewhat diversified. He studied literature and Russian at the University of Virginia, tropical conservation and development at the University of Florida, and fiction writing in the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. A former theater critic and international development researcher, he worked most recently for the antipoverty organization Oxfam. He lives in western Massachusetts.
